There are many steps in making the Soundwave 2 wall sculpture. Solid poplar wood is used throughout. It is first cut, jointed and planed. Then the slats are cut and fitted together. Next comes routing, shaping, sanding and texturing. Then it was darkened with wood stain, framed, and embellished with blue and gold acrylic accents. Finally, it is finished with multiple coats of polyurethane. It is family heirloom quality for people who love wood.
