This Shabbat Challah Board has a built in Sheffield steel knife, and a decorative brass inlay with the Hebrew words “HaMotzei Lechem Min HaAretz“(Bread of the Earth).

This challah cutting board with knife & blessing comes in two styles:
-With the knife and brass inlay blessing with the Hebrew words “HaMotzei Lechem Min HaAretz” .
-With the knife only (no blessing) and with a variety of woods laminated together.
The cutting boards measure approximately : L-16 x 8.5 x 0.9TH ” (40 x 24x 2.3TH cm). XL-16 x 9x 0.9TH (40 x 29x 2.3TH cm). Each one is slightly different because at Etz-Ron all pieces are unique.
Most of the base woods on this run are dark.
How do I care for my cutting board? This Mosaic Challah Cutting Board will last for years if taken care of properly! Some of my customers have had the same board for over 35 years! First, choose the side you want to cut on, and use only that side for cutting. Never immerse your cutting board in water, rather wipe clean with a damp cloth. Rejuvenate your board every month by applying a coat of mineral oil. It is easy to do and food safe. Just wipe it on and wipe off the excess with a soft lint free cloth.

Shipping on this item and other heavy items at Etz-Ron: The rates for shipping have risen the whole world over. Each piece of wood, even of the same species, has a different density/weight. Only a few of the cutting boards (including packaging) in this run will come in under the 2kg weight for the cheaper shipping option, most are over 2 kg limit and they must be shipped the more expensive express shipping option. For ease of check out, I have defaulted all shipping of this item to express shipping. However, if the board you select is packed and weighs in under 2kg, it will ship with the cheaper service and you will be refunded the extra shipping cost .
