This Wooden Folk Art Bowl has a folk art design that is hand carved into this wide rimmed Spanish cedar wood bowl. This wooden bowl can be used to serve, from fruit to chips to nuts. If knick knacks are your thing, they fit in here as well. Works well as a wedding present to a special couple.
I first turned this bowl on a lathe, and then I carved out the design. Cedar wood has a beautiful golden color, and to accent that color, I lightly scorched the top and underside, which showcases the natural wood color.
