Description
This Ivory Eggshell Round Frame can hold art of up to 20.5″ D. The frame is embellished with a border of eggshell around the perimeter. Eggshell when applied to woods makes a fabulous texture, interesting to look at and not too busy to distract one from the art inside. Laying eggshell inlay is amazingly time consuming but the results are well worth it. This frame is one of a kind.
The wood used in this frame is sapelli wood. The listing is for the frame only. This is an amazing frame is made from 10 segments of solid sapelli wood, that have been joined, turned on a lathe and finally inlaid with eggshell. Finished with polyurethane. It has fold-able prongs to accept artwork and glass or mirror which are not supplied.
