Description
This colorful wood Wall Quilt Triptych is reminiscent of a cloth quilt, except that it is made from wood and is wall art! The dominant colors are a variety of green tones with a smattering of pinks and gold.
It is made from reclaimed, repurposed pine wood and is colored with acrylic paint. Each of the 24 blocks are composed of 13 pieces. Those 13 pieces were first cut, painted, assembled, and then mounted on ply and framed. Finally, each of the three pieces was finished with multiple coats of polyurethane, and readied for hanging.
This Wood Wall Quilt Triptych is a part of my ” Fitting In” series, some blocks don’t fit in and they are pointing in different directions.
Each frame measures 56 x 30 x 3 cm ( 23 x 12 x 1.4 ” ). This Triptych is not for sale, but a similar one can be made for you, either with this color palette or another suitable to your furnishings. Turn around time 4-8 weeks. Contact me.
The Wooden Wall Quilt Triptych requires express shipping because of it’s weight. Express shipping includes an export invoice, the actual shipping cost and insurance, should you live outside of Israel. If you would like it delivered within Israel contact me for shipping costs.
